About Coordinated Fitness
Coordinated Fitness is a youthful business of Accredited Exercise Physiologists who can help you reach your health goals through fully monitored and supervised exercise programs. You will gain energy, fitness, health and enjoyment from all of our programs. At Coordinated Fitness our clients are our top priority and every effort is made to meet their needs.
Coordinated Fitness was established in 2003 and since that time has assisted many clients with services ranging from general weight loss and training programs to the rehabilitation of chronic health conditions and training programs for elite athletes. Coordinated Fitness has many tailored programs to meet the needs of our varied clients. (Examples of our tailored programs can be viewed in the services section.)
We offer a multidisciplinary approach to health and wellness with all of our programs being tailored to your needs in a friendly supportive environment. We also have a close working relationship and referral basis with many other health professionals such as, doctors, physiotherapists, dieticians and psychologists. So rest assured if you need expert advice outside our realms of expertise we have the professionals you need.

Tanya Barnett BAppSci (HMS) AEP MAAESS
Tanya is the senior Exercise Physiologist at Coordinated Fitness. In 2002 she completed her degree at the Queensland University of Technology and since has been developing the dynamic business called Coordinated Fitness. The business works closely and has alliances with doctors, allied health professionals and sports coaches to ensure clients receive the support they need to achieve their goals. These valued professionals have chosen to work with Coordinated Fitness as they see the positive benefits we offer to their clients.
Tanya has an extensive knowledge of functional training for clients ranging from rehabilitation cases right through to athletes. She is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with the Australian Association of Exercise and Sports Science and has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement Studies).
In 2003, Tanya established Coordinated Fitness and over this time has built the business to focus on the functional aspects of strength training and rehabilitation. With these techniques clients have seen improvements in muscle imbalances, movement control, balance, strength and performance.
She started the business to ensure the public were receiving quality exercise programs from trained professionals in a fun supportive environment. Being client focused she also gains great satisfaction from encouraging clients to reach their health goals and exceed all expectations clients place on themselves.
